  1. Shula is actually an excellent coach…seemingly always given the task of making the best of a bad situation.  In this case the front office was seriously negligent in addressing the talent level on the offensive side of the ball.  This was perhaps the worst group of WR's I've seen on any team.  They've gone cheap at LT for years.  J. Stewart is two years past his prime.  Then there are the injuries to Olson, R. Kalil, and Turner.  Also, Newton's shoulder is bad and he's spraying the ball all over the place.  I feel sorry for the next Defensive Coordinator that doesn't have Shula's clock running strategy to protect and rest the Defense.
