  1. Thank you for watching! =^
For those of you asking about what knife this is, I got curious as well and looked for the same knife and I finally found it online: http://www.komeri.com/disp/CKmSfGoodsPageMain_001.jsp?GOODS_NO=959959

It is 180mm Shirogami Steel usuba knife by Seki Magoroku. Shirogami steel is "white paper" steel which is very pure carbon steel. It sells for a little over $100.

The inscriptions are 関孫六 (Seki Magoroku) and 白鋼 (White Steel).

This time I used my hands to polish the knife and I only polished up and down the knife, but if you polish it in multiple directions the scars will be less visible. I mean, you normally use a glider to do mirror polish but if you're interested in polishing by hand, that's something you might want to keep in your mind. Also, if you’re interested in the sharpening stones I used, I put the links in the description. See you in the next video! 🙂

  2. Everything on this channel is so satisfying. Even if you and Rachel don't post videos that often they're almost always trending. Hope you get more recognition!

  3. The guy should not be mad that he sold that knife for $3. You braid what it was worth at the time. Your craftsmanship is what made it worth more.
