  1. Good job by the father not blaming the track team/coach, like HBO would have liked.  This is why this story didn't make the televised version. 

  2. I was a D1 Student-Athlete who ran track and this show really touched a nerve with me. The NCAA has to do better for athletes, and those of us who buy tickets, watch on TV, wear the jerseys etc. need to demand that we do better.

  3. I could live 10 lifetimes and never understand how can someone with such a perfect life would be depressed and kill herself. I don't feel sorry for her, she should have counted her many many MANY blessings. The true definition of 1st world problems.
