Amnesty International is calling for an independent investigation into suspected atrocities by Myanmar’s military.

It follows the army’s admission – for the first time – that its soldiers murdered 10 Rohingya.

Their remains were found in a mass grave in Rakhine State last month.

The army’s commander-in-chief says action will be taken against the soldiers involved.

Al Jazeera’s Scott Heidler reports.
