Officials are searching for a woman they say abandoned a newborn baby boy in the Tucson airport last month. The baby was left with a note pleading for help to find him a home. The Tucson Airport Authority believes the woman may have given birth in a restroom before leaving the baby on a changing table.

  1. That's sad. Hope they don't charge her. If the young/underage Mother cannot love/care for the child, then it's better for the child to be adopted by parents who are able to give it the love/care that it needs.

  2. This is an option made available by the State to HELP. An attempt to locate and punish this young lady, turns HELP into TRAP. Think about it.

  3. She is a good mom, if she’s trying to find another family for the baby, she’s not doing anything horrible, leave her alone and let the baby find an amazing family that wants a baby to love and take care of.

  4. This woman did not know of "safe Haven" (fire dept, police stations, hospitals) for leaving baby.Probably postpartum depression/ignorance. Start teaching some LIFE SKILLS in school- make it mandatory. (infant/child care, parenting classes) Common sense is not so common, but I hope she is not in any trouble.

  5. Hopefully they don't charge her. Maybe she wasn't aware of safe haven laws. At least she knew she had to give him up and didnt hurt the baby.
