  1. Fearmongers live off this kind of propaganda. So does the news service. But we do need to know when it's for real the price we pay for technology.

  2. I'm more angry that they won't let anyone know who it was! They need to be fired and thrown in jail for causing what is probably the worst false alarm in the history of Hawaii!!!

  3. Receives Emergency Alert about ballistic missile threat
Consults Twitter instead of trying to survive nuke

    This is what we've become…?

  4. Really shows how prepared we if there actually was a nuke you all be dead because you’re too busy wondering and not just taking cover remember you only have about 15 minutes for a nuke goes off of it we’re real

  5. "we got a imminent ballistic warning telling us to take shelter immediately, so we all stood around and started tweeting"
    absolute morons

  6. Typical first world 2018. "We got an alert saying there was an inbound missile so we all went straight to twitter to figure out what was going on."

  7. I woke up and saw his texts saying "uh.." "we got an alert that missile gonna attack us.." he texted me that about 3 hours ago, I panicked._.yeah I mean, I dont want something bad happens to him and u guys(Hawaiians)..but thank god it wasn't real..BUT IM STILL WORRY

  8. Well, if americans would stop messing in EVERYBODY elses business and close those 400 military bases they have around the world.. .

  9. Yeah I doubt this was a false alarm. Dont trust the news, they could be covering this up so ppl dont freak out. Stay safe down therd and leave right away if you can.

  10. I’m glad I live in Los Angeles Angeles no such could happen here because Hawai’i and the other islands will receive those alerts first b4 anything. 😊

  11. Even though they say an employee pressed a wrong button u know it was to test hoe w people would react in an imminent nuclear threat. And from this… not very well And if it was real they’d all be killed! Easy way to see this as it was too see a nuclear threat to a small developed location and how they’d react to it and how would it be so easy to send everyone an alert which you’d know would scare people today due to the threat of NK. Also, guess how close Hawaii is to NK..!? It was a small scale test to give the government an idea of how they’d citizens would react and would they know what to do.

  12. ESTO QUIERE DECIR QUE: TURISMO DEL MUNDO, NO VIAJEN A HAWAI; HAN COMENZADO (WASHINGTON) A HUNDIR UNA FUENTE DE TRABAJO DE MILES DE TRABAJADORES HONESTOS.
THIS WANTS TO SAY THAT: TOURISM OF THE WORLD, DO NOT TRAVEL TO HAWAII AND HAVE BEGUN (WASHINGTON) TO SUCCEED A SOURCE OF WORK OF THOUSANDS OF HONEST WORKERS.

  13. “Pressed the wrong button”? 👌

U sure it wasn’t a small scale test to see if people could actually survive it in a real nuclear war…🤔

  14. I bet whomever did that gets a lil more than just the joker of the day award. They should also have a text message in Pidgin for those that cant speak or understand english but know how to navigate public assistance fairly well. Those other fools are Facebooking and Twittering are just as hopeless. Let me finish my snapchats first then Ill seek shelter at Starbuck's.

  15. there is protocols " takes more than one person" to be followed – its was no accident pushing a button..lol.. not to mention google : dead mans hand !! – missiles would automatically fired

  16. Vern, and Robert this took place on your watch, you are both fired; immediate termination from your employment. Vacate your positions immediately. This is not a false idea.

  17. Why won’t CBC do a story on immigration fraud?
When 75% of Syrians have a January 1st birthday it’s obvious proper ID isn’t even asked for..
